About me

I'm Korean and grew up in Hong Kong, where I spent the first 18 years of my life. I later moved to the United States to study Bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego.

Living in Hong Kong and San Diego gave me two very different perspectives on life: one fast-paced and intense, the other slower and more relaxed. Over time, I came to appreciate both ways of living and learned how to find contentment in each.

After graduating, I moved to San Francisco to build my career in biotech. I later moved to Boston to pursue my MBA at Boston University, where I became inspired by the builders, founders, and startup community around me. That environment pushed me to spend more of my free time building, testing, and experimenting with new ideas.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy hiking, running, and tea.
